Project Statement: "You have been hired by a US client who is looking to purchase land in Kerćem and build a modest vacation house. Since you have visited Malta, you client is pleased to know that you know something of the area and its history. Their plan is to live in the house 6 months of the year (multiple visits…various times). When they are not visiting, the house will be used as a vacation rental. They would like the house to be modern but fit within the context of the surrounding neighborhood. They would also like the building to be energy efficient."

• Three bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms

• A small powder room on the first floor

• Kitchen

• Small pantry

• Dining room

• Living room

• Outdoor courtyard

• Rooftop space

• Small garden space

• Laundry area

• Balconies (as desired/feasible)

• Laundry room and clothes line
